Eight educators from Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools were recognized as Teachers of the Year for their schools at the 2025 Union County Teacher Recognition Program, sponsored by the Union County Superintendents’ Roundtable.
The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Board of Education is seeking a new board member to fill a vacancy following the resignation of Amy Winkler, effective June 1, 2025. This qualified applicant from Fanwood would serve until the next annual school election in November 2025.
Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools celebrated Read Across America Week from March 3-7 with a variety of theme days, guest readers and other activities to celebrate and encourage a love of books.
